Shannon Moran, originally from the United States, started out by editing for her college and summer camps.  Wanting to pursue editing as a career she enrolled in the Colorado Film School. Later she went on to do freelance, along with also working with two TV Production/ Post Production Houses in Denver, Colorado. After five years of freelance work, Shannon decided to moved over to the UK and look to a different industry in film and television. There she went on to study at the Met Film School in Visual Effects and Animation.

As a child and young adult Shannon gained knowledge in music, acting and directing, But also gained knowledge in computer sciences and web design. The combination of all these skills have made Shannon the editor she is today. Helping her have a keen eye for pacing with either music or an acting performance. 

Over the years Shannon has experience with all forms of editing such as Feature Length films and documentaries, short films, commercials, music videos, web shows, and trailers. On top of having editorial experience she also has skills and knowledge in multiple facets of post production. From DVD Authoring, to Web Design and recently Visual Effects and 3D Animation, along with several software packages. Those include Final Cut Pro, Avid, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, PhotoShop, DVD Studio Pro, Maya, Nuke, Boujou.
