Julia Marie Cuellar is from Newton, Kansas. She started becoming involved in theatre her sophomore year of high school in Newton, KS under the direction of Mrs. Laurie Ryan.She was and still is very intrigued by the technical aspect. She performed a little in high school, and worked on such shows as: The Outsiders, Fools, Big River, Oklahoma, and Arsenic and Old Lace.   at the end of her Junior year she decided to attend Coffeyville Community College, and did so the fall after her Graduation in 2003. There she worked on such shows as: Corruption of Mind & Final Draft,Greek Soup, Candy Therapy, No Exit, November Women, Canker Sores and Other Distractions, Cowboy Mouth, The Autumn Garden, God’s Favorite,Lights Fade to Black, Big River, Just Being Barry White, Bat Boy, The Incident at the Standish Arms, Joan,Peter Pan, On Tidy Endings, and The Rubber Chicken Factory Improvisational Comedy Troupe. Her overall resume consists of Set construction, Hair, and Make-up, Costume construction, Lights, Sound, and Stage Managing. She has also worked on The Cocoanuts, and a Bright Room Called Day at Emporia State University , where she is currently attending school for technical theatre and Secondary education.   Bend is her first real acting experience on film. Julia thuroughly enjoyed the experience.   She doesnt plan on acting any time soon and would like to go back to stage managing.
