Allan Sanders is obsessed with Poe's work since a student of his gave him a book of his. Now his bride to be, Anna is worried about his health and him not sleeping well. His mother Marie is in denial because her son is suffering from the same illness that her husband had. Allan starts to decline deeper into the world of Poe and starts to see Edgar Allan Poe; to the point where his hallucinations take over his life and hurt the ones around him.

Dangerous Dealings was shot in three days, on eight hour shoots.

It was actually a stage play in 2005 at Coffeyville Community College. And because of his wonderful portrayal of Poe, Allen Twitchell came back to play the mysterious writer.
