A woman returns home from work to
the same old boring existence, everything feels dull and colorless. Resorting
to drastic measures to stimulate
her life from black and white into shining color the woman turns to
acid. Experiencing the trip of her lifetime the dancing colors
soon turn into flashes of violent images bringing her to realize this
game isn’t always fun..
- Fix won second place at the Kan
Film Festival in 2005 in the open division catorgory. It was
the first short Shannon created giving her focus and inspiration
to pursue film school
- Behind the scenes Cindy Paasch couldn’t scream on demand, Shannon
decided to crawl beneath the camera and grab her each time for effect. To
keep the element of surprise during filming others
angles Richard Stevenson had the honors.
- The background footage of the burning church
was actually a real event shot by Shannon and her brother Patrick
three years prior to production when their neighbourhood church located
next door to the family home sadly caught fire.
